Shreya Ajmani is an art writer and arts professional focusing on Asia and its diasporas. She has contributed writing to ART India, ArtAsiaPacific, Artnet, Artsy, Frieze, Ocula, Vogue India, Harper’s Bazaar India, among others, as well as to institutions such as the Audain Art Museum and Bonhams. Her words have been displayed in Vadehra Art Gallery’s exhibition ‘On Purpose’ (2023) and Yoko Ono’s ‘Arising’ project at the Vancouver Art Gallery (2021–22). Her interviews include artists such as Marina Abramović, Takashi Murakami, Ai Weiwei, Bharti Kher, Huma Bhabha, Gauri Gill, and more.

She curated and co-led Bonhams’ ‘The Asia Edit: Contemporary Art from the South Asian Diaspora’ (2024) and ‘The Trailblazers’ (2023) alongside the Head of Department for South Asian Modern and Contemporary Art. Previously, she worked at the Mumbai Gallery Association, overseeing communications and programme logistics for the monthly Art Night Thursdays, as well as the 10th and 11th editions of Mumbai Gallery Weekend. In 2021, she co-organised Artists for Covid Relief. She attended the Paris College of Art in 2019.
